• During the summer when we will be short of a clinician, all our appointments will be on-the-day and emergency only, there will be no pre-booked appointments.
  • Please also note that on some of the days when we are really short there will be no telephone triage

Due to a recent change in the structure of our clinical team, we are seeking a 6 session GP to join our forward thinking practice by 1st September 2018, however we can be flexible with both the number of sessions & the start date for the right candidate.
  • We are a high achieving Training Practice, with a list size of approximately 9000 patients.
  • The surgery is an easy commute from Glasgow.
  • We strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance & are a very friendly team who meet for coffee (& sometimes cake!) everyday after morning surgery.
  • Our GP social convenor organises regular team nights out for the whole practice.
  • We have an expanding diverse clinical team which includes 6 Partners, Clinical Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Community link worker.
  • We hold regular meetings and keep up to date with CPD in our large meeting room.
  • Being a young team and a training practice means we are always open to hearing fresh ideas from our Registrars and any potential candidates.

For more information or to arrange an information chat, please contact our Practice Manager, Mrs. Lindsay Pattie (on 01294 463 011 or lindsaypattie@aapct.scot.nhs.uk).

Recent Changes
Dr. Bryony Newton will complete her third year GP training after her maternity leave in August 2018,
When Dr. Fina Malloy will also return to the practice to complete her training.
There is a well recognised GP Workforce challenge both Nationally and here in Ayrshire. In an attempt to alleviate the effects on patients we have made some changes to how patients register in these areas – the new process will be:
  • From 26th July 2017 Practice Lists will be CLOSED in these areas
  • Patients wishing to register should complete a NP Registration Form
  • The practice will then send the completed form to the Health Board
  • The Health Board will then ALLOCATE YOU TO A PRACTICE within your area
We endeavour to let you know as soon as possible which practice you have been allocated to.
The Practice and the Health Board are appreciative of your support in this matter.
